Shelby Systems offers FREE webinars and low-cost Training webinars to keep your church up-to-date with how our software works and what’s new. All live webinars are interactive so the viewers can type in questions via an online tool and it appears on one of the moderators screens… somewhat like an instant message. We work hard to answer all questions during the webinar, but if time is too short or a question goes too far off topic, those questions will be answered at a later time via email.

Ben Lane and His Family In Hawaii

I sat down the other day with one of our Arena trainers, Ben Lane, to get a better idea about what he does, who he is, and why working with Shelby customers has made such an impact in his life. Within 30 minutes, I had already learned a lot about the Arena trainer, youth leader, French horn-player, puppeteer, and former EMT (Emergency Medical Technician). After working at Shelby for 14 years, Ben had a lot to say about his experiences and the people he has met along the way.

Being loyal Shelby Systems’ clients, you have probably heard of or are familiar with what we call SSTips. This tool was created years ago with our clients’ needs in mind.

It all started one day in the late 1990’s when then outside Shelby trainer, Alfred Johnson, walked into a training session in Amarillo, TX. Alfred was surprised when he was immediately confronted by the attendees, since each one seemed to have a Shelby v.5 problem of some kind.
