We’ve got a new podcast today with Events Manager Karen Bishop, who joins us to talk about our International Shelby Conference 2012. ISC 2012 is scheduled for June 13-15 in Memphis, TN.

Karen tells us about this year’s exciting keynote speaker, the worship and praise leaders, who should attend the conference, special speakers and classes, and why we chose Memphis. We’ll also discuss the venue and nearby activities and attractions. We can’t wait to see you in June!

Today is the 70th anniversary of “the day that will live in infamy”, when Pearl Harbor was attacked and the United States officially entered into WWII.

Pearl Harbor survivor, former Tennessee state senator, and author Bill Jim Davis joins us for a riveting eyewitness account of that fateful day. Mr. Davis also explains what growing up during the Depression and serving in politics taught him. He will conclude with the ingredients for a happy life. We, as a nation, are indebted to Mr. Davis and others like him who answered the call to duty and performed with valor.

Chick fil-A didn’t just invent the chicken sandwich. They do a lot of important work in the community as well. Chick fil-A’s The Summit, nestled in the majestic mountains of Ft. Payne, Alabama, is a place of revival and restoration for Christians. It is designed specifically for ministry leaders to help them unplug and reconnect with God. Summit Director, Ryan Carter, joins us to explain what this wonderful retreat has to offer hard working Christians.
